November 4th & 5th – Hosted by Innkeeper and resident photographer, Marc Blazar, join us for 2 enjoyable and educational days designed to help you take better pictures. Marc has been a professional photographer for 30 years and has traveled the world with Fortune 100 corporate clients. Curriculum will include understanding photography fundamentals, how to make your digital camera do what you want it to, composition, and some very basic digital editing. We will also take a short field trip to do a little nature photography. Additionally, Marc will be joined by his brother, Alan, who is one of the foremost fine art digital print makers in the country. Alan is also a fine art photographer and publisher and will be sharing his knowledge of what it takes to turn your photos into art. Plan to arrive on Friday afternoon so you can join us for a cocktail reception for all workshop attendees before dinner.

Thanks for our picture, Mark. Seeing your website makes us want to return ASAP!! Next time we’d like to stay in the cottage shown on your site. What’s the pricing on a cottage and the photography workshop? Take care. Tell Marianne hello. And, of course, give Rocco a pat on the head for us!!!
Hi Debra,
The cottage featured on the slide show on the website is the Boxwood – a very sweet woodsy cozy cottage. The rate is $ 175.00 during weekdays and $ 195.00 on Fridays and Saturdays. There is no charge for the photo seminar.
Hope to see you soon – especially Rocco, he remembers you fondly.
Marianne
Hi Debra – just want to be sure you’re aware of the Photography Workshop taking place Nov 4th & 5th. Would love to have you here!
Hi Blazars – at this time we cannot compete with photos of “Spring Time”! We went skiing last week, and although the temperature is getting warmer – there is no sign of “Spring”.
We will keep you informed, as soon we cultivate “Upper Ditch” – yours Gerhard and family from Vienna.
Will any digital camera be okay for the workshop?
yes
Any digital camera is fine. We will hopefully show you how to take better photos with whatever camera you use. Be sure to bring the manual.
I am interested in the photography workshop and would like to stay Upstairs in the Inn. What will the room rates be for that weekend and what is the charge for the workshop? Thanks! Karen
There is no charge for the workshop for guests of the Inn. Rooms upstairs in the Inn are our normal weekend rate of $155, which includes a fabulous breakfast for two.
Unfortunately, I’m unable to attend the photography workshop on Nov. 4 & 5. Will there be another one?
Thanks,
Sandy
Yes – we intend to do them each Spring and Fall. Stay tuned…
